Invade is currently looking for innovative, like-minded folks who love retail-centric activations and lifestyle events to fill the following positions:

Strategy Department:
(A) Manager / Executive, Strategy / Business Development 
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

  • Ability to create and craft business plans, decks, portfolios and proposals efficiency
  • Able to develop new businesses and opportunities through networking and establish long term working relationships
  • Present proposals to prospective stakeholders and provide after engagement support
  • Resolve issues and negotiate agreements and business proposals
  • Maintain tidy record of sales and customer management
  • Request for costing (e.g logistics, event management fee, licensing fees, fringe activities fees, etc) from the Brands department
  • Review communications channel with marketing department
  • Responsible for content creation, research, conceptualisation

Requirements:

  • Open to Full-time positions or Internship placements
  • At least 1 year of experience in sales, business development or account executive role for any of the following; event agency, exhibition company, creative agency/ marketing agency, real estate management company like Savills, Knight Frank, Far East or Capitaland
  • Analytical, decision-making and good time management skills
  • Knowledge of market research, business making and negotiating principles
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
  • Natural leader and motivator of business development team
  • Ambitious and target focussed with a drive to succeed
  • Strong commercial outlook and an entrepreneurial approach to business development
  • Able to commit weekends and/or OT

Brands Department:
(A) Manager / Assistant Manager, Project Management
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

  • Managing existing brands like MOX Parade, Flea Party, Artbox and establish long term working relationships
  • Able to manage and strategise end to end activities and coordination of projects
  • Provide after engagement support
  • Resolve issues and negotiate agreements and business proposals
  • Maintain customer relationship management records
  • Drafting of sales quotation to potential client
  • Sourcing of quotations from contractors, service providers, etc for the projects
  • Projecting estimated costing and matching it against actual costing

Requirements:

  • Open to Full-time positions
  • At least 1 year of experience in sales, business development or account executive role for any of the following; event agency, exhibition company, creative agency/ marketing agency, real estate management company like Savills, Knight Frank, Far East or Capitaland
  • Creative thinking and good PR skills
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
  • Able to commit weekends and/or OT

(B) Executive, Vendor Management 
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

  • Provide vendor service support and handle vendors’ queries via email or phone
  • Vendor management and curation for our retail markets
  • General office administration and other event miscellaneous tasks
  • Set-up of events and on-site assistance and coordination
  • Sourcing of quotations from external vendors

Requirements:

  • Open to Contract Work, Part-time or Full-time positions
  • At least 1 year of experience in customer service or vendor management
  • Good attitude, takes initiative
  • Proficient in both English and Chinese (speaking and writing)
  • Able to solve customers’ problems effectively
  • Internet savvy with knowledge in Microsoft Office
  • Able to commit weekends and/or OT

Marketing Department:
(A) Manager / Executive, Marketing Communications
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

  • Ability to conceptualise, create and execute marketing and communications programs, campaigns, activations and promotions
  • Work closely with other departments to design artwork for online, offline and on-site marketing collaterals within datelines
  • Develop creative briefs and effective proposals
  • Ensure all artwork are of good quality, consistent with brand guidelines

Requirements:

  • Open to Full-time positions
  • At least 1 year experience in marketing role for any of the following; event agency, exhibition company, creative agency/ marketing agency, real estate management company like Savills, Knight Frank, Far East or Capitaland
  • Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas
  • Able to commit weekends and/or OT

MOX:
(A) Community Manager 
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

  • Induce new members into community and understanding members’ needs
  • Able to come up with various ideas, organize fun social events, introduce Happy Hours and encourage people to participate in those events
  • Ability to brand and put co-making space on the map

Requirements:

  • Open to Full-time positions or Internship placements
  • At least 2 years of experience in co-working or community building role
  • Work well with details and processes
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships
  • Communicates well and finds satisfaction in getting things done
  • Ability to interact, communicate and present ideas
  • Able to commit weekends and/or OT

(B) Country Manager / Executive 
Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:

  • Manage all operations within Malaysia
  • Agree annual budgets and produce detailed annual business operating plans
  • Deliver monthly, quarterly, or annual targets for revenue
  • Recruit and manage staff, performance monitoring, possibly mentoring and training too
  • Act as key contact and negotiation point of contract
  • Able to manage and develop company branding and awareness in the marketplace

Requirements:

  • Open to Full-time positions
  • Foreign nationalities are welcomed
  • At least 1 year of experience in sales, business development or account management role for any of the following; event agency, exhibition company, creative agency/ marketing agency, real estate management company like Savills, Knight Frank, Far East or Capitaland
  • Natural leader and motivator of the team
